Freedom to Marry Voices for Equality

Each day is a new opportunity to lift your voice up for equality. Freedom to Marry's Voices for Equality is a record of prominent Americans who have spoken out against discrimination in marriage. From religious leaders to entertainers to politicians, these non-gay and gay women and men are refusing to be silent at a time when America's promise of equality is at stake.

  • We currently feature 1,284 Voices for Equality.
  • Below are links to detailed profiles for 355 of these heroes.
  • A list of the 913 supportive national and state officials can be found here.
  • A list of the 96 Marriage Resolution Signers can be found here.
  • And we encourage you to nominate more supporters of marriage equality.

Check back often as this is just the beginning of our efforts to highlight the thousands of voices for equality that have spoken out across the country, and continue to come out in support of the freedom to marry.
