Today, Illinois Rep. Ed Sullivan announced that he will vote for the freedom to marry on the IL House marriage bill. He is the second Republican representative in IL to pledge his support.

So far in 2013, over a dozen U.S. Senators announced that they support the freedom to marry for same-sex couples, and by the first week of April, a majority of the U.S. Senate publicly supported marriage for gay and lesbian couples.
