Today in Indiana, a statewide bipartisan coalition joined together to launch Freedom Indiana, which will work to defeat HJR-6, a proposed constitutional amendment that seeks to permanently ban all protections for same-sex couples and their families in Indiana.

The Peace Corps' policy change, which allows same-sex couples to serve together as volunteers, was personal for Shari Quan, who served in rural Uganda. She and her partner, Elisabeth Halliday, are planning their wedding, and the policy change has opened up the possibility of the women serving together without being separated.

One of the same-sex couples couples who married today in New Zealand was Lynley Bendall and Ally Wanikau, who said "I Do" on an airplane in a beautiful ceremony sponsored by Air New Zealand.
