Mainers rally in support of the Yes on 1 campaign

With only days remaining until the polls close on Tuesday, over 300 supporters of the freedom to marry gathered in Monument Square in Portland, ME to show their support of Yes on 1 and commit to taking action in the final days of the campaign to ensure that Maine becomes the first state to win marriage for same-sex couples at the ballot.

Richard and John: Finally married after 62 years

Remember Richard Door and John Mace? They met at the Juliard School of Music in 1948 and have been a couple since 1950, making Manhattan their home. Last year, they joined Freedom to Marry in making the case to the New York State Senate to pass the marriage bill. And now after 62 years, Richard and John have finally married in New York!
