A deeper look at an NBC/Wall Street Journal poll conducted on February 29th demonstrates that being forthrightly for the freedom to marry is a net positive for voters, and, in particular, a strong net positive for Democratic and Independent voters, as well as younger voters across the spectrum.

In a letter today to the Democratic Party Platform Drafting Committee, New York Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman today announced his support for a freedom to marry plank in the 2012 platform.

According to a Quinnipac University poll released today, 57% of New Jersey voters support the freedom to marry for same-sex couples.
