Just days after the Respect for Marriage Coalition launched in Washington DC, the bill to repeal the so-called Defense of Marriage Act gained two new cosponsors in the House: Rep. Ed Perlmutter (D-CO) and Rep. Loretta Sanchez (D-CA)
Senator Reed: 104 days ≠ “very shortly”

104 days ago, Senator Jack Reed (D-RI) said he would decide "very shortly" whether or not he would cosponsor the Respect for Marriage Act, the bill that would overturn DOMA. But 104 days later, he's still deciding. What's the hold up, Senator Reed?

With the addition of Senator Bob Menendez and Representative Bill Pascrell, all members of New Jersey's Democratic Congressional Delegation have signed on as cosponsors of the bill to repeal the so-called Defense of Marriage Act.
