Equality Maryland January 25, 2010
Maryland remains one of a handful of states that has the opportunity to end marriage discrimination against same-sex couples in the near future. This time last year, we were anticipating the possibility of marriage equality. Now, a year later, we are one of only five states to fully realize the freedom to marry for gay and lesbian couples. But with this victory came those who would take that freedom away. There is still a lot of work to do to educate our friends, families, and neighbors about the importance and role of marriage for all Iowans. Party for a cause – host a Marriage Equality House Party!
