This week, the so-called National Organization for Marriage announced that an anonymous donor has pledged two million dollars to support NOM's anti-gay efforts to defeat marriage at the ballot in four key battleground states on November 6. With six weeks before Election Day, Minnesotans United for All Families, the coalition to block a discriminatory consitutional amendment that would permanently limit the freedom to marry in the state, is ramping up their fundraising efforts by hosting its final One Day United event.

Freedom to Marry announces $200,000 matching grant for Maine’s ‘Yes on 1’

Today, Freedom to Marry announced a pledge to match donations up to $200,000 to the "Yes on 1" campaign through the end of September. The $200,000 contribution from our Win More States Fund would bring our total investment in Maine to $1 million this year.

On October 30, a star-studded slate of musicians will join together in New York City for a benefit concert supporting the work of Freedom to Marry. The all-star line-up includes fun., The National, Rufus Wainwright, and They Might Be Giants. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the concert benefits Freedom to Marry.

Richard Carey completes cross-country bike ride for Freedom to Marry

For nearly two months, 53-year-old Richard Carey has been biking across the country in order to raise money for Freedom to Marry and raise awareness about why marriage matters for all loving and committed couples. Yesterday, he dipped the rear wheel of his bicycle in the Atlantic Ocean in Maine, signaling the end of his 3,667-mile journey from Washington state to Maine.
