Freedom to Marry salutes Camryn Manheim as a Voice for Equality!
Ms. Manheim is an American actress known primarily for her roles as attorney Ellenor Frutt on ABC's The Practice and Delia Banks on CBS's Ghost Whisperer and as Elvis Presley's mother in the 2005 mini-series Elvis. In 1983 she made a brief appearance as a girl in an elevator in Sudden Impact alongside Clint Eastwood in the post-courtroom scene at the beginning. In 1998, Manheim collected an Emmy for her work on The Practice and exclaimed that "This is for all the fat girls!" She followed up on this statement with a one-woman show entitled Wake Up, I'm Fat! followed by her autobiography with the same name.

Spring has arrived in the Big Apple over the last couple of weeks, and what better way to get ready for the warm weather ahead than to check out a newly-renovated health club and spa while also supporting the freedom to marry!
Complete Body and Spa will be holding a Grand Opening and Fundraiser on Monday, April 19th, with all proceeds from a raffle and a percentage of sales made during the event going to Marriage Equality New York (MENY) and their Political Action Committee (MENY PAC).

Freedom to Marry salutes Anthony LaPaglia as a Voice for Equality. Mr. LaPaglia is an Australian actor best known for his Golden Globe Award-winning role as FBI agent Jack Malone on the American TV series "Without a Trace", and for his Emmy Award-winning portrayal of Simon Moon on the TV show "Frasier".

Freedom to Marry salutes Steven Weber as a Voice for Equality. Mr. Weber is an American actor, best known for his role as Brian Hackett, a skirt-chasing airplane pilot on the sitcom Wings.
On March 15, 2010 Mr. Weber was announced as a planned participant in an anti-Prop 8 Scavenger Hunt to support The Williams Institute and Marriage Equality.
Maine Diocese penalizes Homeless Aid Group for supporting Marriage Equality

A social service agency's support for the freedom to marry has cost it local and national funding from the Catholic Church's anti-poverty program.
Preble Street's Homeless Voices for Justice program has lost $17,400 this year and will lose $33,000 that it expected for its next fiscal year.

Freedom to Marry salutes Jeff Probst. Mr. Probst is an Emmy winning American game show host, executive producer and a reporter. He is best known for his role as the host of the U.S. version of the reality show Survivor. On September 21, 2008 Probst won the first Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program. On September 20, 2009 he again won the same award.
