During the month of June, Washington United for Marriage raised $952,267, the organization's highly monthly intake yet. Total contributions to Washington United now surpass $2 million. Ninety percent of contributors in June were Washington residents, and the majority of the donations - 79% of them - were small contributions of $100 or less.

There's just over four months left until the November election, when Minnesotans will be asked to vote on an anti-gay constitutional amendment that would ban marriage for same-sex couples. At Twin Cities Pride on Sunday, Minnesotans United for All Families was on top of their game, blanketing the parade and making sure that supporters of the freedom to marry know they should vote "no" to the anti-gay constitutional amendment on the ballot this November.

Last weekend, Richard Carey kicked off his 53-day bike journey across the United States. He'll be biking to raise funds for Freedom to Marry and raise awareness about why marriage matters to same-sex couples nationwide.

Andrew, Eric, and Cornelia Dayton are pitching into Minnesotans United for All Families, a coalition of organizations dedicated to defeating an anti-gay marriage amendment at the ballot in November. The Daytons, the sons of Minnesota mayor Mark Dayton, are offering a $200,000 challenge grant for the coalition.

Garden State Equality, the largest civil rights organization in New Jersey, has been working hard to override Gov. Chris Christie's veto of the freedom to marry.
