This week, a new poll from KSTP/SurveyUSA found that a majority of Minnesota adults support ending the exclusion of same-sex couples from marriage. The poll, measured last week, found that 51% of Minnesotans support the freedom to marry, while just 47% do not.

This week, Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton and Illinois Governor Pat Quinn delivered their "State of the State" addresses to outline overarching goals and priorities for 2013. Today, Freedom to Marry announced a 2013 drive to raise and invest $2 million through the Win More States Fund, with an initial goal of passing marriage bills in several states across the country - Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, New Jersey, and Rhode Island.
