Today, Freedom to Marry and Third Way released a memo demonstrating that state legislators who vote in favor of marriage for same-sex couples continue to win voter support when running for reelection. The analysis demonstrates that 97% of state legislators who voted for the freedom to marry and ran for reelection won in 2012, compared to 90% of incumbent state legislators nationwide.

A new poll from Political Insiders in The National Journal indicates significant growth in support of ending the exclusion of same-sex couples from marriage. 97 percent of Democratic respondents and 27 percent of Republican respondents said that their respective parties should support the freedom to marry.

A new poll from NBC Latino/IBOPE Zogby indicates that a solid majority of Latinos in the United States support the freedom to marry for same-sex couples. 60 percent of Latinos surveyed in the poll said they "strongly agree" that same-sex couples should be able to marry.

A new poll out of Rhode Island indicates that a majority of the state's residents favor the freedom to marry for same-sex couples. The poll, conducted by WPRI 12, a Rhode Island news station, shows that 56 percent of voters support ending the exclusion of same-sex couples from marriage.

A new poll conducted by the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute at Southern Illinois University finds that support for the freedom to marry among people in Illinois has grown significantly over the past two years. The institute's data shows that 43.6 percent of respondents said they support marriage for same-sex couples.

Hart Research Associates published a new poll today out of Maryland that finds majority support for the freedom to marry, with significant growth among black voters. 54 percent of voters said they would vote to uphold the freedom to marry at the ballot in November.

A new poll from the Pew Research Center demonstrates huge majority support for the freedom to marry. Almost two-thirds of Democrats surveyed in the nationwide poll said they favor legal marriage for same-sex couples, and only 29 percent said they are opposed.
