Facebook co-founder Chris Hughes, 27 -- who's been dubbed "the kid who made Obama president" for organizing his social networking site, My.BarackObama.com, during the historic 2008 campaign -- is planning to marry his long-term boyfriend, Sean Eldridge.
Sean Eldridge is the political director here at Freedom to Marry, overseeing communications, development, and federal initiatives.

In and exclusive oval office interview with "The Advocate," President Obama says the Pentagon is "prepared to implement" repeal of “don’t ask, don’t tell” and it will take months not years.

Nelly Furtado is a Canadian singer-songwriter, record producer and actress of Portuguese descent. She has sold 20 million albums worldwide.
As reported on ontopmag.com in December of 2010, Ms. Furtado said she's proud to live in a country [Canada] that supports the freedom to marry. The 32-year-old entertainer and mother said there is nothing wrong with gay couples marrying.

The Rev. Jesse Jackson is an American civil rights activist and Baptist minister. He was a candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination in 1984 and 1988 and served as shadow senator for the District of Columbia from 1991 to 1997.
The Rev. Jesse Jackson called into the community gathering at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals courthouse hosted by Marriage Equality USA on Monday and shared extensive remarks in support of marriage equality and Judge Walker's Prop 8 ruling.
