Election Day is approaching fast: There are fewer than 28 days until November 6, when voters in four states - Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, and Washington - will vote on marriage-related ballot initiatives. The voter registration deadlines and procedures are a little bit different in each state.

At Ithaca College in New York, Seattle resident John Vogan has partnered with Created Equal to host phone banks for Washington state every two weeks. Twice a month, John and Created Equal distribute posters and Facebook invitations asking students to talk on the phone with Washington residents to protect the freedom to marry for all couple.

Today, data company EMC Corporation announced their support for the freedom to marry by officially endorsing Washington United for Marriage, the coalition of pro-marriage organizations working to uphold the freedom to marry by approving Referendum 74 at the ballot on November 6.
