Poll finds discriminatory marriage ban lacking support

A new Public Policy Institute of California poll finds that 54% of likely voters oppose Prop 8, while 40% support the anti-gay measure. However, voters are evenly split, 47%-47%, on whether they support marriage for gay couples. [Link]
