Dear Mr. Wolfson,
I was privileged to hear your interview this morning on AM 580, WILL in Champaign-Urbana. I thank you for advocating for first class citizenship for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered people. My son is 16 this year and came out when he was 14. It is truly heartbreaking to think that my countrys government would deny him the rights he is entitled. My son is like most young men his age. He wants an exciting career, preferably one in which he makes a lot of money, a family and, maybe, a devoted lifetime love that includes marriage. As an adult, it should be his decision whether to enter into marriage or not. With the work that you and your organization are doing, perhaps he will have that option.
Thank you.
