Blog 4 Equality Contest

Win a scholarship to attend Netroots Nation from July 22-25 courtesy of Freedom to Marry!

At Freedom to Marry, we believe in the importance of supporting new and diverse voices in the fight to win marriage nationwide. That’s why we’re offering scholarships to three up and coming bloggers/online activists to attend Netroots Nation 2010 in Las Vegas. If you’ve got something to say about marriage and want to develop the skills to help you say it better, enter the Blog 4 Equality contest.

The rules are simple. Fill out the form to your right and submit:

  • Either two written blog posts OR one video blog demonstrating your support for marriage or actions you’ve taken to advance the freedom to marry. (Please make sure that your blog posts and videos are already live on the Internet - we are not accepting raw video or text files.)
  • Responses to all short answer questions (under 100 words each).

After all applications have been submitted, a panel of judges will narrow the field to ten finalists. Freedom to Marry supporters and the public will vote at www.FreedomtoMarry.org on the three scholarship winners. Each scholarship will include Netroots Nation conference registration, roundtrip airfare to Las Vegas, and hotel.
