Poll: Majority of New Hampshire Residents Oppose Repeal of Marriage Law

A WMUR Granite State Poll found that 62 percent of New Hampshire voters want to keep the state's law allowing marriages for same-sex couples. Only 29 percent of New Hampshire adults support repealing the law. The telephone poll of 560 adults was conducted between Jan. 27 and Feb. 6, 2011, by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center.
