Do you like Harry Connick Jr.? I do!

As a father of two and a marriage advocate, there never seems to be enough time to get everything done during the holiday season.
That's why I was so thrilled to hear about Freedom to Marry's newest opportunity. Starting today, anyone who makes a donation will be entered to win a pair of tickets and backstage passes to see the new hit Broadway musical On a Clear Day You Can See Forever starring Harry Connick, Jr.!
Now that sounds like the perfect gift! Take two minutes to make a donation today, and you will get the chance to have the experience of a lifetime:
The Freedom to Marry staff sometimes makes fun of me for being a "show queen." It's all in good fun, but I was hooked on Broadway shows from the time I saw my first musical with my parents as a child. It was the original production of Hello Dolly! right after David Merrick revolutionized Broadway by casting Pearl Bailey to follow Carol Channing (OK, I guess I am a show queen). Now, I can't think of anything better than seeing a show like the new revival of that other 60's classic, On a Clear Day You Can See Forever on Broadway.
But enough about the 60's -- this year feels especially significant because we finally won the freedom to marry in New York. It's a feeling that I want all gay and lesbian couples to be able to have, in our neighboring states and across the country.
With your support, I know we can move forward in 2012.
Take a moment to donate today. And don't forget, Freedom to Marry's Board will match every donation -- up to $100,000. So not only will each dollar you donate be doubled, you'll also be entered for a chance to win two tickets and backstage passes to On a Clear Day You Can See Forever.
Donate today. You'll accomplish two things with one action: make a donation to help win marriage and possibly win tickets to an awesome Broadway show.
Good luck and happy holidays!
