Harry Potter supports the freedom to marry

Harry Potter fans rejoice, because you now have yet another reason to eagerly anticipate the opening of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2." Daniel Radcliffe - the star of the Harry Potter films - is a strong supporter of the freedom to marry.

In an April 28th article in the SDGLN, Radcliffe is quoted as saying:

"I'm more than happy to say I think gay marriage should be legal," he [Radcliffe] stated, "There's absolutely no reason why it shouldn't be." In terms of American politics, he has the most admiration for Gavin Newsom. "It's fantastic how he has spoke out about these issues over the years. He spoke out for his city. He's not worried what the rest of the country is doing," Daniel remarked.
