John Aravosis writes about President Obama's response to Brian Williams' question, "Do gay and lesbian couples who wish to marry in this country have a friend in the White House?" Aravosis states, "When you strip away the calculated politics of the first part of his answer, Obama seems to believe that the federal government shouldn't be in the business of regulating marriages, period - straight or gay. That's a very interesting, and I suspect somewhat controversial, answer." (Link)
