OP-ED: No on Proposition 8 is about a basic right

A large number of denominations support equal marriage rights for same-sex couples, but if Proposition 8 passes, clergy could no longer marry same-sex couples even when it is authorized by their churches. Government should not interfere with anyone's exercise of religion. Religious freedom is too valuable to be put to a vote. [Link]
