As we told you last week, Freedom to Marry is proud to be partnering with Standing on Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays, a series of short plays on the freedom to marry for gay and lesbian couples.
Here's a brief description of the plays from their website:
"Two little words, and suddenly your whole world changes. In this new evening of short plays, nine renowned playwrights offer their unique takes on the moments before, during, and after 'I do.' Witty, warm, and occasionally wacky, these brand-new plays are vows to the blessings of equality, the universal challenges of relationships, and the often hilarious power of love."
Last week, they put together a short video introducing you to the playwrights and producers. Take a moment and check it out!
If you're in New York City, be sure to buy your ticket now before the performances sell out. Tickets are available for performances beginning November 7th through December 18th, and $10 of each regularly priced each ticket sold will benefit Freedom to Marry. Just use the promo code FTM011 when purchasing your ticket. Enjoy a night at the theater all while supporting our campaign to win marriage nationwide!
