Twenty-one couples part of new D.C. marriage campaign

As part of the campaign to enact the freedom to marry in Washington, 21 local gay and lesbian couples are speaking out together about the importance of marriage equality. The effort comes in advance of moves by D.C. City Council member David Catania (I-At Large) to push for marriage equality in the city. He’s widely expected to introduce the bill this fall. [Link]
