U.S. Representative Carolyn Maloney (NY-D) was first elected to Congress in 1992. She is recognized as a national leader with extensive accomplishments in financial services, national security, the economy, and women’s issues.
On her website, she has said, "I am proud to be among the growing ranks of House Members who support full marriage equality for same-sex couples."
