Voice for Equality: Moby

Richard Melville Hall, better known by his stage name Moby, is an American DJ, singer-songwriter, and musician. He sings and plays keyboard, guitar, bass guitar and drums. Moby became a successful artist on the ambient electronica scene, and achieved eight top 40 singles in the UK during the 1990s.  His albums, the most recent of which is Wait for Me, include: Ambient, Everything is Wrong, Play and Last Night. In the fall of 2010, Moby participated in the HRC's New Yorkers for Marriage Equality project by appearing in a video in support of the freedom to marry.  The effort was aimed at influencing the public to vote for members of the NY state Legislature who would approve marriage equality.
