Vote for Carrie & Anastasia’s dream wedding

A couple weeks ago, we blogged about Robbie and Allen – a couple entered in Crate & Barrel’s national Dream Wedding contest. We wanted to give a shout-out to another LGBT couple in the running, Carrie and Anastasia.
An LGBT couple winning this contest (or any nationwide contest like it) would be, in a word, huge. They’d be the first to do so, driving home the message that the freedom to marry is something this country values.
Carrie and Anastasia aren’t just advocating the end of marriage discrimination, though. They’re running on a broader socially responsible platform, which encompasses everything from an environmentally themed ceremony with local food and recycled vases to supporting companies with fair labor and environmental policies.
The couple’s lifelong commitment to doing good extends beyond their wedding – an oncology nurse and a Human Rights Campaigner, the two deserve the dream wedding they’ve worked so hard for.
So go vote – not only for Carrie and Anastasia, but for Robbie and Allen if you haven’t already. You can vote for both! Let’s help them win.
