Gonzales Research & Marketing Strategies

January 2011

A statewide Gonzales Research poll found that a majority of Maryland residents support the freedom to marry. Fifty-one percent of voters say they would favor a law in Maryland allowing same-sex couples to marry, while 44 percent are opposed.

The poll also found that 58 percent of Maryland voters approve of the way pro-marriage Gov. Martin O’ Malley is handling his job. [PDF]
