This groundbreaking poll shows increasing support for the freedom to marry among faith voters in California. Among its most important findings are that support for the freedom to marry increases from 42% to 61% when civil marriage is clarified to be “like the ones you get at city hall.” Also, 58% of Californians polled believed it was appropriate to apply the Golden Rule to marriage for same-sex couples.
