Angela Dallara

Angela Dallara was the Deputy Communications Director at Freedom to Marry and spent four years managing the day to day communications operations of the organization. She worked to increase Freedom to Marry's national media presence by cultivating ongoing relationships with reporters at prestigious outlets including the New York Times, Washington Post, Associated Press, NPR, MSNBC, Huffington Post, and more.

She provided messaging guidance for organizational spokespeople, same-sex couples and their families, and movement partners. She also worked to direct media strategy across specific programs including Young Conservatives for the Freedom to Marry, Southerners for the Freedom to Marry, and Mayors for the Freedom to Marry. She collaborated closely with the new media team to ensure Freedom to Marry became a one-stop shop and resource on marriage for journalists.

Angela graduated in 2010 from the State University of New York at Geneseo with a BA in Political Science and minors in Women's Studies and Africana Studies. She now works as the Director of External Communications at Freedom for All Americans.
