Angela Dallara was the Deputy Communications Director at Freedom to Marry and spent four years managing the day to day communications operations of the organization. She worked to increase Freedom to Marry's national media presence by cultivating ongoing relationships with reporters at prestigious outlets including the New York Times, Washington Post, Associated Press, NPR, MSNBC, Huffington Post, and more.
She provided messaging guidance for organizational spokespeople, same-sex couples and their families, and movement partners. She also worked to direct media strategy across specific programs including Young Conservatives for the Freedom to Marry, Southerners for the Freedom to Marry, and Mayors for the Freedom to Marry.
