Jake Loesch worked as Freedom to Marry's Campaign Manager for Southerners for the Freedom to Marry from August 2013 to November 2014. In that role, he worked closely with statewide equality organizations and coalition partners across 14 states in the American South to develop and execute proactive communications plans and media strategies focused on building support and amplifying the voices of pro-marriage messengers. Before joining Freedom to Marry, Jake served as Deputy Communications Director for the Minnesotans United for All Families campaign, which became the first campaign in the nation to defeat an anti-marriage ballot initiative in 2012. Following his time with Freedom to Marry, Jake became a state lobbyist with Goff Public, a government relations and public affairs firm, in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
