Juan Barajas

Juan Barajas was the Development Director at Freedom to Marry, where he oversaw the campaign’s goal to raise and strategically invest millions of dollars into public education, state campaigns, and federal work. He brought 15 years experience working in the LGBT movement raising more than $25 million to help advance legal and cultural acceptance for gay and transgender Americans. Previously, he served in various senior leadership roles with the national LGBT advocacy organization GLAAD. He also worked for local San Francisco Bay Area LGBT organizations providing health and well being services for youth, seniors, and people living with HIV/AIDS. He graduated from Stanford University in 1999 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
