Alaska
The Alaska state legislature continues to fight off an anti-relationship recognition resolution, which would expand current state discrimination against marriage to also outlaw any type of relationship recognition. The legislature successfully stopped the resolution in 2007, but it could be brought up again. State advocacy groups continue to work against discriminatory practices in Alaska and towards repealing marriage discrimination and gaining the freedom to marry for the citizens of Alaska.
